Blossom

Having been through the Easter break, here’s some of my thoughts about it

Writing

It’s been nice to finish up the second post on the Levi-Civita Notation over the vacation. It was very computationally challenging but I’m glad I stuck through it as it’s been exceptionally useful in understanding all the vector equalities in fluid dynamics.

Throughout the process, I have faced a lot of issues with \(\LaTeX\) and getting KaTeX to work properly. I ended up rewriting a bit of the code and now I’m relying solely on the auto-render extension provided by KaTeX. I must admit I still don’t know how it all really works.

Walking

On a casual note, I’ve been enjoying walking around Oxford more and more. I’ve recently had walks along the Boundary Brook and along the Thames which were very pleasant. Oxford University Walking Club has also made a lot of its walking routes publicly available.
